Eight Winds Festival July 17th-20th 2014

is now open for the ADF NorthWest Region’s annual Eight Winds Festival!

This year's Eight Winds Festival, the annual gathering of ADF's Northwest Region, will be held at Emigrant Group campground, in the Tahoe National Forest, located just outside the town of Truckee, CA. Emigrant Group Campground is located alongside the beautiful Stampede Reservoir within the Tahoe National Forest. A forest of ponderosa pine, Jeffrey pine and fir trees covers the area while sagebrush dots the forest floor.
Accommodations
We have both the Prospector and Rancher sites reserved this year, which allows us to accommodate 75 guests. RV and Tent camping are available.
Amenities
Prospector and Rancher sites share a bathroom facility and there will also be rustic hot shower facilities (propane) set up on site for the event. Hotel/motel accommodations are available in the town of Truckee about 30 minutes away. Each group site has a central cooking and picnic area, equipped with a campfire circle. Approximately six tables and four grills are provided at each site as well.
Auction
We will be hosting an auction during this event. Please email us if you have something you'd like to donate, your generous donation is tax deductible.
Meal Plan
The food will be professionally catered and will allow options for vegan, gluten free, paleo and other diets as needed with Advanced notice.
Prices
Cost of attendance is $40 per adult (age 14+) and $20 per child (age 5-13).
The meal plan is $70 per adult (age 14+) and $40 per child (age 5-13).
Day passes are available with Reservation Only at $20 per day for adults and children.
Prepayment is required for these rates. There will be no refunds, substitutions, transfers or exchanges.
There is only room for 75 participants at this festival. Registration prices will increase after June 1st.
