Public High Days
Ár nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship (ADF) is an international fellowship devoted to creating a public tradition of Neopagan Druidry. All of our High Day events are open to the public. So, bring a friend or family member to one of our upcoming events.
Feather River Protogrove, ADF hosts several public High Day rites a year. We hold rites in Chico, usually on a Friday evening at the Council Fire Ring in Bidwell Park.
We also have High Days camping retreats at Mystic Valley Retreat Center in Pulga, CA. These are mini retreats for the whole family. During our High Day Retreats we hike, swim, meditate, play, and participate in ritual. For a map to get to Mystic Valley Retreat Center click here.
Some of our past events include nature hikes, swimming in the Feather River, collecting black berries, collecting Wild California grapes, rock hounding for California Jade, field trips to the local hot springs, making staffs and wands, making homemade acorn meal, bug hunting and identification with the kids, and classes on ADF cosmology and liturgy.
